This place has really nice waffle cones for the price, a variety of ice cream flavours to choose from, and really big scoops! If you want just regular ice cream with nothing fancy and not pay $10 in the process, this is the place for you!

They let you sample some flavours before buying

Scoop + waffle cone is $5

Bring cash and time because the lines can get very long

My favorite summer hit.  About 5 bucks for more ice cream than you could ever imagine.  I believe 5.50 with a sugar cone.

    Pros
    -big scoopings
    -reasonable price
    -variety of flavours
-ice cream isn't the only thing in the menu

    Cons
-melts easily so get a cup instead

This place only takes cash. There's not much seats. Friendly staff. Their single scoop (I don't know about the others) price went up by .50 cents but it's fine~

Pay less than $3 and get a mondo huge scoop of ice cream. Seriously? Yes.

This small place on the corner of Kelvin and Danforth is attached to the St Clair Ice Cream factory where they make the ice cream that they serve here. It's definitely a popular spot and boasts a sign on the outside that reads, "May all your days be ice cream days."

It does good to sample the flavours before you commit, though, as they might not be up to par with your particular tastes. For example, the green tea was at first tempting, but once I tried it I knew it wasn't the kind of green tea ice cream I was in the market for. I had a scoop of the cookies n' cream, which was different, but mostly because the milk tasted like the evaporated powder kind you buy in bags.

Still, that flavour didn't turn me off, and honestly, where else can you get that much ice cream for your buck?
